There has never been a better time to give to Saint John Catholic School. Our mission has always
been to educate children to recognize and act upon the Christian principles of responsibility,
individuality, generosity, and respect for mankind. We know that our students must live and prosper
in this world and so we offer a sound challenging academic program.
The generosity of alumni, parents, and friends is important in advancing Saint John's mission. Your
gift today is an investment in our school and our students and is crucial to sustaining our school, as
tuition alone does not cover the costs of educating our students. We rely on fund raising and
donations to balance the budget and enhance the curriculum.

Pennsylvania Commonwealth law permits C-Corporations, Subchapter
S-Corporations, Partnerships and other pass-through entities to earn state tax
credits when providing scholarships for financially-eligible students at minimal or
no cost, depending on your tax liability. [EX: A $500 EITC scholarship can be made
for as little as $50 out-of-pocket.]
The non-profit Second Century Scholarship Fund awards aid to students attending
Catholic schools in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. While dozens of businesses
have earned substantial tax credits by contributing more than $4 million to us since
2001, the need for your support remains. Our goal is to award all program-eligible
students with tuition assistance scholarships.

| GIANT A+ SCHOOL REWARDS With the A+ School Rewards program, our school earns CASH each time you shop at any GIANT store using your BONUSCARD between October 10, 2010 and March 19, 2011. Participation in the program is simple! Our school will earn credit for 1% of your total purchases. At the end of the program, our school will be awarded a check for the total amount earned through participation in the program. Re-designation is required for all BONUSCARD holders who designated their cards to a school last year. |
