Mrs. L. Pamela Vaiana

Pamela Vaiana is originally from Wellsboro, Pa. and is the principal at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in Bellefonte, Pa. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Education, Communication and Theatre from Mansfield University and a M.S in Education with an emphasis in guidance and counseling from Elmira College.

Pam came to St. John in 1995 as a preschool teacher. In 2001, she took over as Principal.

Pam has three grown children and her husband is the environmental manager for a local company. She likes to spend time with her family and greatly enjoys the small town atmosphere of Bellefonte. Her interests include yoga, music, art and herb gardening.

Pam has recently had the opportunity to be involved in several research projects. She has authored or co authored articles that have been published in various professional journals and newsletters. The articles reflect her interest in ethical issues and in the development of young people from grade school through college.
