Mrs. Michele McCarty

Michele McCarty is the third grade teacher at Saint John Catholic School. Originally from New Eagle, Pennsylvania, she attended California State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.

In addition to her seventeen year tenure at Saint John, Mrs. McCarty has taught various elementary grades in San Bernardino, California, and she has also worked in the State College Area School District.

Mrs. McCarty lists the knowledgeable and friendly faculty, staff and administration along with the supportive clergy as advantages to Saint John. In addition, she cites the wonderful students, small school atmosphere, and of course, delicious lunches as her favorite aspects of the school.
