Mrs. Debbi Miller
Debbi Miller is the first grade teacher at Saint John Catholic School. A native of Blanchard, Pennsylvania, she received her teacher training at Clarion University. She has also received dual certification in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She was previously a substitute teacher for four local school districts and two day care centers and has been teaching at Saint John Catholic School since 1998. Before teaching first grade, Mrs. Miller taught art and social studies in the middle school as well as fourth grade.
Mrs. Miller enjoys teaching at Saint John Catholic School because of the friendly atmosphere. She chose to become a teacher because she wanted to help children learn and she feels that by teaching students to believe in themselves and their abilities, they will be able to conquer any task.
Mrs. Miller resides in Marsh Creek with her husband and their two daughters and many pets. She loves to read and spend time with her family and friends. She enjoys gardening and spends spare time at the family farm. During the summer vacation, Mrs. Miller works at the Benner Township Summer Park & Recreation Camp as a counselor.
